Full course description

Phosphorus (P) is a non-renewable resource essential for plant and human life. Its primary use is as a fertilizer, and with current disruptions in supply chains and increases in fertilizer cost, we need to understand the fate and transport of P in the natural system and how it can potentially be conserved and reused.

This course covers topics related to P sustainability as a critical natural resource and comprises seven independent modules. Please contact Jango Bhadha at jango@ufl.edu for more information.

This course was supported by University of Florida IFAS Extension and the Science and Technologies for Phosphorus Sustainability (STEPS) Center, a National Science Foundation  Science and Technology Center (CBET-2019435).
